Mark as Useful These people are Scam artists. They will say they are attorneys with Brown Andrews and Scott, saying you owe them money and if you don't pay you will go to jail. Do as I did and please call federal trade commission and also your local attorney general state consumer. Don't pay them any money!!!! I called the bar association of New York and they aren't attorneys. They aren't even a collection agency. As I understand they are over seas and getting people like us to pay them for debts we think we owe. They will contact your family, you and your job. Know that these people can't do anything other then to harass you but please put a fraud alert on your credit.

Mark as Useful Says he is an agent for Dish Network calling regarding a promotion deal which can lower your monthly charge. He almost made me believe that he was one as he had all the details regarding my account. I got suspicious when he started asking for info that is normally not asked for. Besides the caller ID did not show him as calling from Dish Network. Hung up on him and called Dish Network. Per Dish Network this person does not work for them.

Mark as Useful Says that they I have a un-payed balance on my Macy's account when I have just payed it and have called the 1800 # on the back of my card to make sure it was recieved. I have told them I have contacted a lawyer and will be getting their name blocked. They are scam artists looking for some old lady to give them all her info. DO NOT give them any info!
